Thank you for taking an interest in photography services with photography by Zoe Nickola.
 
I understand and appreciate that providing your personal data can be concerning so I’d like to tell you a little about what I collect, how it is stored, what I use it for and why I collect it.
 
This policy is effective from 05/03/2023
 
 
Information collected;
 
There are some pieces of information we’ll need to collect from you to be able to understand how I can best offer my services. Therefore I ask you for:
 
·     Your full name(s)
·     Your email address(s)
·     Your mobile phone number(s)
·     Your home address(s)
·     An overview of the service you’d like from me (including your wedding venue and other supplier details if the service is wedding photography)
 
Sensitive data categories; 
 
Under GDPR law there are certain characteristics that are classed as special categories, meaning that they are likely to be more sensitive. As my role involves providing photography services for wedding days, there are certain characteristics that I may naturally become aware of due to the intimacy involved in a wedding day. For example; wedding speeches can often mention a persons past or current health diagnosis and the ceremony style can allude to a persons religious beliefs. 
 
These categories include; 
 
·     Racial or ethnic origin
·     Religious or philosophical beliefs
·     Data concerning your health
·     Your sexual orientation 
 
 
 
How this Information is stored;
 
This information is required to be stored by myself for up to 2 years after your wedding to allow for any future contact to do with your photography services such as album creation and any post service queries, this information is sorted on a spreadsheet on my laptop which is password and fingerprint protected. This is also then backed up to an external hard drive, which is sored securely. 
 
This information includes;
 
·     Your name
·     Your email address
·     Your mobile phone number
·     Your home address
·     Names of your bridal party & any family members / friends required for group images. 
 
I will not provide your personal information to any third parties unless I have your consent to do so. This includes my chosen album creation company and printing company. 
 
Sharing of information; 
 
If for any reason I require a second shooter or an associate, your details will be required to be shared with them for them to carry out the photographic services, your details will not be shared with these seconds or associates until I have your written explicit permission to do so. 
 
I will not share any personal data with third parties unless I have your explicit written permission via email to do so. 
 
I use Pixieset to deliver my wedding gallery, Showit hosts my website, Studio Ninja runs my customer management system and contact form, all systems have their own privacy and GDPR policy which can be found on their individual websites. 
 
Withdrawal of consent; 
 
Withdrawal of consent for me to use your personal data can be given at any time, please email info@zoenickola.com if you wish for consent to be withdrawn. 
 
Use of Images for promotional purposes; 
 
Images from your photography services may be posted on my social media pages, website and used for promotional purposes only (eg, printed for wedding fairs). When you sign your contract for photographic services this information is included within the text that you are agreeing too. 
 
Please be aware that social media captions are also contain your names. For example; 
 
John and Jane 
Or 
Mr and Mrs Doe 
 
You have the right to withdraw from this usage and if you wish for me not to use your images or withdraw consent for me to do so, please contact me via email at info@zoeickola.com or make me aware of this at the time of signing your contract. 
 
Consent from wedding guests; 
 
As I take candid images throughout the day, II work on the assumption that as I have been hired to cover the event, that the permission to take images of anything and anyone is granted. However if I am taking group shots, I will ask permission from people to take their photo and these will appear in your password protected gallery. However if for any reason these images need to be removed, please contact me at info@zoencikola.com and I will remove this as soon as possible. 
 
 
Access requests;
